Display your stockings in style with these hand forged stocking hooks for your mantle.

Each hanger is handmade in Maine using blacksmithing tools and techniques and finished with a natural beeswax and linseed oil solution.

These Stocking Holders are slightly curved to follow along the edge of a mantle. They hold stockings by curling back under the mantle slightly and transferring the weight of the stocking back to the curled top of the hanger.

There are no nails or installation required, they simply sit on the mantle and counterbalance the weight of the stocking.

Important Note: These Stocking Holders are designed to work with traditional mantles that features crown or cap mouldings. For straight edge mantles, the bottom of the hooks may still be used to display empty stockings, but may not function properly if holding any significant weight.

Stocking holder

I thought it was well made. However it was a little crooked once on the mantle..

Very pretty.

The shape didn't work for our mantle. I didn't realize that they curve inward, and our mantle is thick. They are so pretty though; I didn't want to return them. I ended up making them work by sort of hanging them sideways. Quality is great!

Perfect hangars on my mantle

Don’t hold stockings - too light and too short

These holders look nice and are well made but they aren’t long enough or heavy enough to hold stockings on our mantel. They can’t hold empty stockings so they definitely won’t hold them once santa puts stuff in them. Bummer because their simplicity is elegant.

Beautifully made but they won’t work on my mantle. My mantle is too thick and the curve of the holders does not allow them to sit properly. They just fall off. Unfortunately Etsy. Did not include the photo of what works and won’t won’t on their website. Then I would have known.
